Welcome to the Wild Oak Therapeutic Farm Summer Intensives!
This inclusive experience celebrates neurodiversity, allowing children to thrive through connections with nature, animals, and friends in a warm, welcoming environment.
Set on our 5-acre farm, the intensive is designed to promote emotional intelligence, build self-esteem, and teach conflict resolution skills in a safe environment. The program lasts one week and runs daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Get ready for a hands-on experience as an unforgettable adventure awaits with many engaging activities.
Participants will care for various farm animals under the guidance of knowledgeable staff, nurturing empathy and responsibility. They will also enjoy hands-on gardening, building teamwork skills and self-confidence while harvesting fresh vegetables and herbs.
Each day includes creative art sessions using natural materials to inspire self-expression. Mindfulness techniques will be introduced, encouraging emotional well-being and self-awareness.
Group reflections at the end of each day will allow participants to share experiences, fostering connections and community.
